Latta, Mystics down Dream in Game 1
Sep 20, 2013 - 4:44 AM Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Ivory Latta scored 14 points in the Washington Mystics' 71-56 win over the Atlanta Dream in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference semifinals.Crystal Langhorne and Kia Vaughn each deposited 12 points for the Mystics, who snapped an eight-game postseason losing streak.
Washington can clinch the best-of-three set with a home win Saturday.
Angel McCoughtry had 20 points for Atlanta, which has lost five in a row dating back to the regular season.
The Dream shot just 26.7 percent.
Washington, which had a 31-24 advantage at the break, outscored the Dream 26-13 in the third as it cruised in the second half.
