Charles scores 32 as Liberty beat Lynx
Jul 6, 2014 - 8:16 PM New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Tina Charles scored a career-high 32 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in the New York Liberty's 87-80 victory over the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday.Cappie Pondexter added 18 points and 11 boards for the Liberty, who have won three in a row. Anna Cruz and Plenette Pierson each tallied 10 points.
Maya Moore ended with 25 points, eight rebounds and three steals for the Lynx, who had a two-game winning streak snapped. Lindsay Whalen and Monica Wright had 13 and 11 points, respectively.
Moore's 3-pointer tied it at 76 with 5:08 to play, but the Liberty scored 11 of the final 15 points to seal the win.
