Dabovic, Parker lead Sparks to 3rd straight road win
Aug 27, 2015 - 1:40 AM INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Ana Dabovic scored nine of her 18 points in the fourth quarter, including a go-ahead basket with 6.1 seconds left, and the Los Angeles Sparks beat Indiana 81-79 on Wednesday night, snapping the Fever's six-game winning streak.Marissa Coleman and Briann January made back-to-back 3-pointers for Indiana to tie it at 79 with 28 seconds left. Dabovic hit a pullback jumper and Indiana's Shavonte Zellous missed two free throws with 1.9 remaining.
Candace Parker had 15 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists for Los Angeles (11-17).
Tamika Catchings recorded her 95th career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds for Indiana (17-10), which fell 1 1/2 games behind New York for the Eastern Conference lead. She had five steals to become the first player in WNBA history to reach the 1,000-career mark.
