Comets-Monarchs to play Monday
Sep 13, 2008 - 10:11 PM HOUSTON (Ticker) -- Friday's game between the Houston Comets and Sacramento Monarchs, which was postponed due to Hurricane Ike, has been rescheduled for Monday at Texas State University's Strahan Coliseum in San Marcos.The storm has canceled numerous sporting events this weekend and caused thousands of people to evacuate their homes along the Gulf Coast.
The Monarchs (18-14) have clinched the fourth spot in the Western Conference, while the Comets (15-17) are headed for the lottery.
