Stampeders re-sign WR Parker

Feb 12, 2014 - 9:31 PM Calgary, Alberta (Sports Network) - The Calgary Stampeders announced on Wednesday that the team has re-signed wide reciever Anthony Parker.

Parker played 17 regular season games in 2013, recording career highs with 21 receptions and 217 yards, including his first two touchdowns of his CFL career.

"Anthony made important strides in his development last season and we believe that the best is yet to come," said head coach and general manager John Hufnagel.

Drafted by the Stampeders in the first round of the 2011 Draft, Parker has 27 catches for 306 yards and two touchdowns in 36 career games.
