Campbell powers Austin past New York
Jun 3, 2007 - 3:43 AM UNIONDALE, New York (Ticker) -- Lang Campbell had eight touchdown passes to lift the Austin Wranglers to an 82-54 victory over the New York Dragons in a matchup of last-place teams on Saturday.Campbell completed 19 of 30 passes for 250 yards as the Wranglers held New York scoreless in the fourth quarter.
Derrick Lewis had eight receptions for 113 yards and five touchdowns while Otis Amey added 96 yards and two touchdowns for Austin (4-9), which won its first road game of the season.
Aaron Garcia completed 28 of 48 passes for 305 yards and eight touchdowns for the Dragons (5-8), who had their three-game winning streak ended.
Kevin Swayne had nine catches for 97 yards and five touchdowns while Jason Willis added 102 yards and a touchdown for New York, which lost at home for the first time since April 15.
