Henry's third TD pushes Dragons past VooDoo
Jun 8, 2008 - 5:05 AM UNIONDALE, New York (Ticker) -- Keron Henry's three-yard touchdown run with 2:15 remaining in the fourth quarter snapped a tie and led the New York Dragons to a 58-51 triumph over the New Orleans VooDoo on Saturday.Henry, who had only four carries for six yards, also rushed for a pair of two-yard scores for New York (8-6), which trailed, 37-30, at halftime.
Aaron Garcia was 31-of-42 for 335 yards and five touchdowns, including four to Kevin Swayne, who made 14 catches for 135 yards.
Danny Wimprine completed 19-of-41 passes for 207 yards with an interception. Six of his completions were for TDs, with Jeremiah Pope and Ira Gooch catching two apiece.
Pope also scored on a 56-yard kickoff return for the VooDoo (8-6).
