Graziani throws two late TD passes to lead Soul to win

May 28, 2007 - 1:43 AM AUSTIN, Texas (Ticker) -- Tony Graziani threw two late touchdown passes to lead the Philadelphia Soul to a 76-66 victory over the Austin Wranglers on Sunday.

Graziani completed 21-of-30 passes, including a three-yard scoring pass to J.J. McKelvey with under three minutes left and a 45-yard strike to James Jerrian with 21 seconds left to put the Soul up by the final margin.

Jerrian and McKelvey each had two touchdown receptions from Graziani, who threw for seven touchdowns without an interception.

Larry Brackins had eight catches for 111 yards to help the Soul (6-6) move to .500.

Sparked by Graziani's brilliant play, the Soul scored a franchise-best 24 points in the first quarter and scored on their first eight possessions to take a 47-42 halftime lead.

Derrick Lewis hauled in 13 passes for 226 yards and four touchdowns for the Wranglers (3-9).

Lang Campbell completed 22-of-32 passes for 319 yards and five scores and two interceptions for Austin, which took a short-lived lead at 66-61 when he hit Lewis for a nine-yard score with 10:30 left in the fourth.
