D'Orazio shines as Soul crush Desperados
Apr 29, 2008 - 5:08 AM PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Matt D'Orazio threw six touchdown passes and ran for another two scores to lead the Philadelphia Soul to a 57-28 victory over the Dallas Desperados on Monday night.D'Orazio completed 20-of-29 passes for 194 yards and ran for 35 yards on eight carries. He opened the scoring just under three minutes into the first quarter with a seven-yard TD run.
He threw three of his TD passes in the second quarter, including one from 17-yards out to Larry Brackins just four seconds before halftime to put Philadelphia (9-0) on top, 37-13.
Clint Dolezel was 17-of-36 for 206 yards and two TDs for Dallas (7-1). He was sacked once and threw four interceptions.
