Grieb, Saintil help Sabercats down Force
Jun 22, 2008 - 6:20 AM SAN JOSE, California (Ticker) -- Mark Grieb tossed nine touchdown passes as the San Jose Sabercats held off the Georgia Force, 68-62, on Saturday night.Grieb found Cleannord Saintil on seven of those scores for the Sabercats (13-5), who outscored the Force, 13-6, in the fourth quarter after trailing by one after three periods.
Grieb, who was 27-for-36 for 354 yards, found Saintil for a 31-yard, go-ahead score with 5:35 left to provide the final margin. Saintil had 12 catches for 155 yards.
Chris Greisen went 23-for-33 for 390 yards with eight touchdowns and three interceptions for Georgia.
