Rush stomp Desperados, clinch conference's No. 1 seed
Jun 23, 2008 - 12:14 AM ROSEMONT, Illinois (Ticker) -- Russ Michna accounted for six total touchdowns Sunday, leading the Chicago Rush to a 75-63 victory over the Dallas Desperados.Michna went 16-of-23 for 181 yards with four passing scores while also running for two more TDs for the Rush (11-5), who clinched the top overall seed in the American Conference with the win along with a first-round bye.
Donovan Morgan finished with nine catches for 123 yards and three touchdowns for Chicago.
Clint Dolezel completed 17-of-21 passes for 165 yards and four TD passes while Marcus Nash caught 10 passes for 114 yards and three touchdowns for the Desperados (12-4), who secured the No. 3 seed in the National Conference and will host a playoff game against the New York Dragons on Friday.
