Astros avoid arbitration with Castro
Jan 16, 2015 - 8:00 PM Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Houston Astros catcher Jason Castro avoided salary arbitration Friday and agreed to a one-year contract.Financial terms were not disclosed.
Castro, an All-Star in 2013 when he hit .276 with 18 homers, slumped to .222 with 14 homers and 56 RBI last year.
The Astros also avoided arbitration with catcher Hank Conger and pitcher Tony Sipp.
