Ray passed to a pair of former NFL players on the first two plays of the second quarter, finding Slaton for 15 yards before hooking up with LaVon Brazill for a 30-yard touchdown.

Minutes later, Ray went 3-for-3 during a short drive that saw Toronto pick up 75 yards on three plays. His 38-yard connection with Owens made it 18-1.

B.C. scored its first touchdown at 6:33 of the second, when Glenn found Arceneaux for a 20-yard score.

Lions kicker Paul McCallum missed his second field goal of the period later for another single, and Waters capped the stanza with a 45-yard kick to send the Argonauts into halftime with a 21-9 lead.

Slaton's 29-yard rushing score 5 1/2 minutes into the third broke the game open, and Toronto rolled the rest of the way.
