Georgia Tech vs. Boston College: The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets closed out the 2022-23 regular season with a nice 73-65 road win at Boston College on Saturday. Miles Kelly led the way for the Jackets with 21 points on 7-14 shooting, including hitting some critical 3-pointers down the stretch. T.J. Bickerstaff led the Eagles with 15 points in the loss.
GT 73, BC 65Boston College vs. Wake Forest: The Eagles needed an amazing scoop-shot layup from Makai Ashton-Langford with 2.2 seconds left to take care of Wake on the road, 71-69. Ashton-Langford finished with 13 points, and Quinten Post and Jaeden Zackery combined for 37 points. Tyree Appleby scored 23 points and Daivien Williamson chipped in 20 points for Wake Forest.
BC 71, WAKE 69Virginia vs. Boston College: The Eagles shocked the ACC landscape tonight as they landed a tremendous upset at home over No.6 Virginia, 63-48. Makai Ashton-Langford led the way scoring 16 points, grabbing 6 rebounds and handing out 4 assists. Jaeden Zackery and DeMarr Langford Jr. each chipped in 12 points for the Eagles. Jayden Gardener scored 16 points and hauled in 5 boards for the Cavaliers.
UVA 48, BC 63Boston College vs. Florida State: The Boston College Eagles jumped out to a hot start and built a big enough lead to hold off a furious Florida State rally in their 75-69 win in Tallahassee on Saturday. Quinten Post got things started for the Eagles, making 5-5 three-pointers on his way to 17 1st half points as BC hit 8-13 from behind the arc in the first stanza, building a 38-27 halftime lead. The 'Noles rallied in the 2nd half behind 27 points from Caleb Mills, who was ultra-aggressive all day and made 17-21 foul shots in the loss.
BC 75, FSU 69Boston College vs. Pittsburgh: The Panthers remained atop the ACC standings after they defeated the Eagles, 77-58. This was Pittsburgh's 12 ACC victory of the season, a program record. Pitt used a 21-2 run in the second half to blow the game open. Blake Hinson hit six three-pointers on his way to 21 points and seven rebounds. Jamarius Burton finished the game with 10 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Federiko Federiko added 10 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks. Coming off the bench Mason Madsen hit four three-points and led Boston College in scoring with 14 points.
BC 58, PITT 77NC State vs. Boston College: The No. 22 NC State Wolfpack went on the road and played an impressive and complete game in their 92-62 win over the Boston College Eagles on Saturday. D.J. Burns Jr. & Terquavion Smith both had big starts, with Smith scoring the Pack's first 10 points of the game and 14 of his 17 points in the first half. Burns Jr. scored 10 early points on 5-7 shooting to go along with 7 rebounds on his way to a 18 point, 10 rebound performance. Jarkel Joiner scored 15 of his game-high 26 points in the 2nd half. Joiner shot 10-17 from the floor, 5-11 from 3-point range and grabbed 6 rebounds while dishing out 6 assists in the win.
NCST 92, BC 62Boston College vs. Virginia Tech: The Eagles controlled the ball game from the onset and never looked back as they defeated Virginia Tech, 82-76. Quinten Post registered a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds for BC. Chas Kelly III tallied 17 points for the Eagles. Grant Basile led all scorers with 33 points for the Hokies.
BC 82, VT 76Boston College vs. Syracuse: The Orange went on the road and defeated the Eagles 77-68 in Chestnut Hill. Syracuse has now won 10 games in a row versus Boston College. Jesse Edwards was dominant for the Orange, scoring a career-high 27 points on 12-15 shooting. He also had 7 rebounds, four blocks, two assists, and a steal. Joseph Girard III had 18 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Quinten Post was once again Boston College's leading scorer with 18 points, to go with five rebounds and four assists.
SYR 77, BC 68Clemson vs. Boston College: The Boston College Eagles fought hard for a nice 62-54 win at home over the No. 20 Clemson Tigers on Tuesday. Four players scored in double figures for the Eagles, with Makai Ashton-Langford scoring 15, Jaeden Zackery adding 13 and both Quinten Post and Prince Aligbe chipping in 10 apiece. The Eagles' defense was stout, forcing the Tigers into 31% shooting from the floor in the win. Hunter Tyson scored a game-high 22 points in a losing effort.
CLEM 54, BC 62Boston College vs. Virginia: The No. 7 Virginia Cavaliers put together a very nice complete game in their 76-57 win over Boston College in front of their home crowd on Saturday. It was another balanced scoring day for the Wahoos as four players scored in double figures in the win. Jayden Gardner and Armaan Franklin each scored 18 points to lead the way. Quinten Post got the Eagles off to a hot start, scoring 14 of the Eagles' first 16 points as BC led early. Post finished with a game-high 24 points.
BC 57, UVA 76Boston College vs. Notre Dame: In head coach Mike Brey's first game since announcing that he will step away following the season, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish fell to the visiting Boston College Eagles, 84-72. Quinten Post led the Eagles with a career-high 29 points on 10-13 shooting with 14 rebounds and 2 blocks in the win. Makai Ahton-Langford chipped in 18 points in the win as well. Nate Laszewski was on fire, scoring a career-high 29 points, making 8-11 from the field including 7-9 from three-point range in a losing effort.
BC 84, ND 72Wake Forest vs. Boston College: The Demon Deacons led from wire-to-wire in their 85-63 win over the Eagles. Wake Forest made 10 three-pointers and scored 23 points off of 15 Boston College turnovers. Andrew Carr had a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Cameron Hildreth added 20 points, six assists, two rebounds, and two steals. Tyree Appleby had 17 points, seven assists, three steals, and three rebounds for Wake Forest. Jaeden Zackery was 3-4 from three-point range and led Boston College with 14 points.
WAKE 85, BC 63Duke vs. Boston College: The No. 16 Duke Blue Devils survived a tough test on the road as they escaped with a 65-64 victory over Boston College. Dariq Whitehead led all scorers with 18 points, and got the Blue Devils going early by scoring 13 points before halftime. Kyle Filipowski added 15 points, 9 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 steals in the win while Mark Mitchell chipped in 14 points on 4-6 shooting. Quinten Post battled inside for the Eagles and finished with a team-high 16 points in the loss.
DUKE 65, BC 64Notre Dame vs. Boston College: The Eagles came from behind to defeat the Fighting Irish, 70-63. Boston College closed out the game on a 16-4 run, and they did not take their first lead in the game until there was just 1:43 left in the game. Jaeden Zackery scored 14 of his game-high 18 points in the second half. Prince Aligbe had 15 points and seven rebounds in the game, with 10 of those points and six of those rebounds coming in the second half. For Notre Dame, JJ Starling and Dane Goodwin each scored 16 points.
