FSU 76, GT 85Duke's Jared McCain was all systems go in their 79-67 victory over Florida State. He tied a Duke freshman record by scoring 35 points (25 1st Half) on 12 of 20 shooting from the field. KENN 67, FSU 94Florida State vs. Virginia Tech: The Virginia Tech Hokies sent their seniors off in style with a 82-60 win over Florida State on Saturday. Sean Pedulla was on the mark from start to finish, scoring 14 of his 25 points in the first half. Pedulla shot a blistering 8-12 from the floor, including 6-8 from three-point range. Grant Basile added 13 points and 8 rebounds on 5-9 shooting. Caleb Mills led the Seminoles with 14 points in a losing effort.
FSU 60, VT 82North Carolina vs. Florida State: The North Carolina Tar Heels went on the road and took care of business in a must-win game in Tallahassee, 77-66. The Heels came out of the gate on fire, making 11-18 shots from three-point range as they built a 43-25 halftime lead. The Seminoles fought back in the 2nd half, attempting to make it two epic comebacks in a row, but Leaky Black, RJ Davis, Caleb Love, and Pete Nance were able to come through late for Carolina
UNC 77, FSU 66Florida State vs. Miami: The Florida State Seminoles got a huge game-winning three-pointer from Matthew Cleveland after overcoming a big deficit to secure the 85-84 win on the road at rival Miami on Saturday. Miami opened the game on a 16-5 run and had a 28-10 run late in the first half to build a 54-31 halftime lead. The Seminoles chipped away in the 2nd half and outscored the 'Canes 54-30 after the break. Cleveland and Darin Green Jr. each scored 20 points in the win. Jordan Miller scored a game-high 21 points on 9-16 shooting in the loss.
FSU 85, MIA 84Boston College vs. Florida State: The Boston College Eagles jumped out to a hot start and built a big enough lead to hold off a furious Florida State rally in their 75-69 win in Tallahassee on Saturday. Quinten Post got things started for the Eagles, making 5-5 three-pointers on his way to 17 1st half points as BC hit 8-13 from behind the arc in the first stanza, building a 38-27 halftime lead. The 'Noles rallied in the 2nd half behind 27 points from Caleb Mills, who was ultra-aggressive all day and made 17-21 foul shots in the loss.
BC 75, FSU 69Florida State vs. Clemson: The Clemson Tigers flexed their muscles with a 94-54 win over the Florida State Seminoles on Wednesday. Clemson got things going early, shooting 60% in the first half as they built a 47-26 halftime lead. It was a balanced scoring attack for the Tigers, with PJ Hall leading the way with 20 points on 7-9 shooting, including 4-4 from three-point range. Chase Hunter was incredibly efficient as well, scoring 18 points on 7-9 shooting while knocking down 2-3 from behind the arc.
FSU 54, CLEM 94Syracuse vs. Florida State: The Syracuse Orange came from behind to win a pivotal game in Tallahassee on Wednesday, 76-67. The Orange trailed by 6 at the half, but a 16-2 run in the 2nd stanza helped them to the win. Joe Girard III scored a game-high 26 points, making 9-16 shots, including 5-8 from three-point land. Girard III also grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out a couple of assists in the win. Freshman Judah Mintz provided a huge spark in the 2nd half, scoring 14 of his 16 points after the break. Matthew Cleveland paced the Seminoles with 19 points and 12 rebounds in the loss.
SYR 76, FSU 67Florida State vs. Louisville: The Florida State Seminoles survived a scare on the road at Louisville, 71-68. The 'Noles had built a 17-point 2nd half lead before the Cards rallied to make it close at the end. Five players scored in double figures for Florida State, with Cameron Corhen leading the way with 16 points on 7-12 shooting. El Ellis paced Louisville with 22 points and 7 assists in a losing effort.
FSU 81, LOU 78Clemson vs. Florida State: The #24 Tigers survived a real scare, but were able to pull out an 82-81 win over Florida State in the final seconds of the game. With Clemson down by two, Chase Hunter drove full court and was able to bank in a shot while getting fouled for an and-1 to put the Tigers ahead with 4.5 seconds left in the game. After missing the previous three games, Hunter returned and scored 26 points, grabbed four rebounds, and dished out three assists. Hunter Tyson added a game-high 27 points and seven rebounds. For Florida State, Matthew Cleveland had 18 points, four rebounds, and four assists. Caleb Mills finished the game with 15 points, three assists, three rebounds, and two steals.
CLEM 82, FSU 81Florida St. vs. Notre Dame: The 'Noles controlled the game from start to finish and cruised to a 84-71 victory over Notre Dame. Darin Green Jr. led all scorers with 20 points for the 'Noles. Matthew Cleveland notched a double-double with 14 points and 16 boards for FSU. Marcus Hammond led the Irish, scoring 19 points and knocked down five treys.
FSU 84, ND 71Virginia vs. Florida State: The No. 13 Virginia Cavaliers went on the road and beat a tough Florida State team in Tallahassee, 67-58. Armaan Franklin led all scorers with 20 points on 8-13 shooting to go along with 7 rebounds while Ben Vander Plas chipped in 15 points nad 7 boards as well. Cameron Corhen led the 'Noles with 15 points in a losing effort.
UVA 67, FSU 58Florida State vs. Wake Forest: The Wake Forest Demon Deacons took care of business at home with a 90-75 win over Florida State on Wednesday. Damari Monsanto was unstoppable, finishing with 22 points on 6-8 shooting from the floor, including 6-7 shooting from three-point range and 4-4 shooting from the free throw line. Andrew Carr dominated the paint on offense, going 8-10 from the floor for 22 points and Cam Hildreth added a career-high 23 points on 9-14 shooting in the win. Caleb Mills led the 'Noles with 19 points on 6-8 shooting and Matthew Cleveland scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the loss.
FSU 75, WAKE 90Georgia Tech vs. Florida State: The 'Noles picked up a big victory at home over the Yellow Jackets, 75-64. Matthew Cleveland turned in a monster game with 21 points and 12 rebounds for FSU. Darin Green Jr. chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds for Florida State. Lance Terry was the leading scorer for GT, scoring 17 points and grabbing 5 rebounds.
