CAN 77, SYR 89Georgia Tech vs. Syracuse: The Yellow Jackets led by nine at the half and never looked back as they defeated 'Cuse on the road, 96-76. Miles Kelly led the way for Georgia Tech with 30 points on 10 of 19 shooting. Judah Mintz paced the Orange with 23 points.
GT 96, SYR 76Syracuse vs. Pittsburgh: The Panthers continue their fantastic play in the 2022-23 season as they defeat the Orange, 99-82. Pitt made 16 three-pointers on the way to a season-high 97 points. Six different Pittsburgh players scored in double-figures. Blake Hinson led Pitt with 22 points, with six made three-pointers, and six rebounds. Greg Elliott made five three-pointers and had 19 points. Nelly Cummings had a double-double with 14 points and 13 assists. For Syracuse, Benny Williams had a season-high 24 points and nine rebounds.
SYR 82, PITT 99Syracuse vs. Clemson: The Clemson Tigers looked extremely impressive in winning their program record 12th conference win of the season at home over Syracuse, 91-73. Hunter Tyson got the Tigers' offense going early, scoring 19 of his 29 points in the first half. Tyson also added 10 rebounds for yet another double-double in the win. PJ Hall added 16 points, Brevin Galloway chipped in 15 points, and Ian Schieffelin was extremely active and came close to a triple-double with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the Tigers. Judah Mintz led the Orange with 23 points in a losing effort.
SYR 74, CLEM 91Duke vs. Syracuse: The Blue Devils had one of their best performances of the year as they went on the road and defeated the Orange in the dome, 77-55. Duke shot 54.5% from the floor for the game and made 13-26 shots from behind the three-point line, while also holding Syracuse to just 34.5% shooting. The 13 made threes were a season-high for Duke. Jeremy Roach scored a team-high 17 points. Kyle Filipowski had a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Joseph Girard III led Syracuse with 21 points on 5-9 shooting, including 4-7 from three. Judah Mintz added 18 points and three steals.
DUKE 77, SYR 55NC State vs. Syracuse: In a close back-and-forth game, the Orange knocked off the #23 Wolfpack, 75-72. This was Syracuse's first win over a ranked opponent in over two years. NC State had two attempts to tie the game in the closing seconds, but could not get either three-point attempt to drop. Jesse Edwards had a big double-double with 18 points and 16 rebounds. Judah Mintz added 20 points and nine assists. For NC State, Jarkel Joiner recorded a triple-double with 15 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds.
NCST 72, SYR 75Syracuse vs. Florida State: The Syracuse Orange came from behind to win a pivotal game in Tallahassee on Wednesday, 76-67. The Orange trailed by 6 at the half, but a 16-2 run in the 2nd stanza helped them to the win. Joe Girard III scored a game-high 26 points, making 9-16 shots, including 5-8 from three-point land. Girard III also grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out a couple of assists in the win. Freshman Judah Mintz provided a huge spark in the 2nd half, scoring 14 of his 16 points after the break. Matthew Cleveland paced the Seminoles with 19 points and 12 rebounds in the loss.
SYR 76, FSU 67Boston College vs. Syracuse: The Orange went on the road and defeated the Eagles 77-68 in Chestnut Hill. Syracuse has now won 10 games in a row versus Boston College. Jesse Edwards was dominant for the Orange, scoring a career-high 27 points on 12-15 shooting. He also had 7 rebounds, four blocks, two assists, and a steal. Joseph Girard III had 18 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Quinten Post was once again Boston College's leading scorer with 18 points, to go with five rebounds and four assists.
SYR 77, BC 68Virginia vs. Syracuse: The No. 6 Virginia Cavaliers traveled to Syracuse, NY and won a hard-fought battle against the Orange, 67-62. It was a balanced scoring effort for Tony Bennett's crew, with Jayden Gardner leading the way with 17 points on 6-11 shooting. Kihei Clark added 12 points and 10 assists and Armaan Franklin chipped in 12 points in the win. Judah Mintz led the Orange with 20 points on 8-13 shooting in a losing effort.
UVA 67, SYR 62Syracuse vs. Virginia Tech: The Hokies won their second game in a row in ACC play, defeating Syracuse, 85-70. Virginia Tech had 26 assists on 32 made field goals, and made 13 three-pointers in the win. Grant Basile led all scorers with 25 points to go with eight rebounds and five assists. Hunter Cattoor had six made three-pointers and finished the game with 20 points and eight assists. Justyn Mutts added 11 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists. For Syracuse, Judah Mintz had 21 points and eight assists.
SYR 70, VT 85Syracuse vs. Georgia Tech: The Syracuse Orange traveled to Atlanta and came away with a hard-fought 80-63 win. Joe Girard III got things started, scoring 18 of his 28 points in the first half. Freshman Maliq Brown scored a career-high 18 points on 8-9 shooting to go along with 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Jesse Edwards finished with 14 points on 6-9 shooting with 7 rebounds and 3 blocks in the win. Deebo Coleman led the Yellow Jackets with 17 points in the loss.
