Florida State vs. Virginia Tech: The Virginia Tech Hokies sent their seniors off in style with a 82-60 win over Florida State on Saturday. Sean Pedulla was on the mark from start to finish, scoring 14 of his 25 points in the first half. Pedulla shot a blistering 8-12 from the floor, including 6-8 from three-point range. Grant Basile added 13 points and 8 rebounds on 5-9 shooting. Caleb Mills led the Seminoles with 14 points in a losing effort.
FSU 60, VT 82Virginia Tech vs. Louisville: The Hokies went on the road to the Yum! Center and defeated the Cardinals, 71-54. Louisville had the Virginia Tech lead down to just three with 9:07 to go in the second half, and then the Hokies went on a 14-0 run over the next 4:30 to pull away. Grant Basile scored a game-high 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Virginia Tech. Justyn Mutts had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds, and he crossed the 1,000 rebounds mark for his career in this game. For Louisville, Mike James and El Ellis each scored 14 points.
VT 71, LOU 54Virginia Tech vs. Duke: The Blue Devils continue to look better and better as they defeated the Hokies, 81-65. Duke dominated down low, scoring 42 points inside of the paint, and all five starters finished in double-figures. Jeremy Roach led the Blue Devils with a 19-point, 10-assist double-double. Dereck Lively II scored a career-high 13 points to go with seven rebounds and three blocks. Mark Mitchell added 17 points and eight rebounds. Grant Basile led Virginia Tech with 15 points, three rebounds and three assists.
VT 65, DUKE 81Pittsburgh vs. Virginia Tech: The Virginia Tech Hokies got a huge win in front of their home crowd over Pittsburgh, 79-72. Five players scored in double figures for Mike Young's club in the victory. Grant Basile continued his outstanding play of late, scoring a game-high 22 points on 8-13 shooting including 4-8 from three-point range in the win. Jamarius Burton led Pitt with 15 points in a losing effort.
PITT 72, VT 79Virginia Tech vs. Georgia Tech: The Yellow Jackets controlled the game from the onset and held on to defeat Virginia Tech at home, 77-70. "Deebo" Coleman finished the night with 21 points on 6 of 10 shooting, and Miles Kelly added 15 points for Georgia Tech. Grant Basile paced the Hokies in scoring with 21 points and hauled in 7 rebounds. Justyn Mutts poured in 17 points with 11 rebounds and 9 assists for VT.
VT 70, GT 77Virginia Tech vs. Notre Dame: The Hokies went on the road and outlasted the Fighting Irish, 93-87. Grant Basile erupted for another 30-point game with 33 on a staggering 13 of 19 field goals for VT. Basile is the first Hokie to have back-to-back 30-point games since 2003. Justyn Mutts displayed all-around excellence for Virginia Tech with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Nate Laszewski left it all on the floor with a career-high 33 points for the Fighting Irish.
VT 93, ND 87Boston College vs. Virginia Tech: The Eagles controlled the ball game from the onset and never looked back as they defeated Virginia Tech, 82-76. Quinten Post registered a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds for BC. Chas Kelly III tallied 17 points for the Eagles. Grant Basile led all scorers with 33 points for the Hokies.
BC 82, VT 76Virginia vs. Virginia Tech: The Virginia Tech Hokies never trailed in their 74-68 upset win against the No. 6 Virginia Cavaliers in Cassell Coliseum on Saturday. It was a balanced scoring attack that got it done for the Hokies, as 4 players scored in double figures. Sean Pedulla led the way with 22 points, Justyn Mutts added 17 points and 8 assists, and Grant Basile chipped in 14 points in the rivalry win. Jayden Gardner led the Cavaliers with 20 points in the loss.
UVA 68, VT 74Syracuse vs. Virginia Tech: The Hokies won their second game in a row in ACC play, defeating Syracuse, 85-70. Virginia Tech had 26 assists on 32 made field goals, and made 13 three-pointers in the win. Grant Basile led all scorers with 25 points to go with eight rebounds and five assists. Hunter Cattoor had six made three-pointers and finished the game with 20 points and eight assists. Justyn Mutts added 11 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists. For Syracuse, Judah Mintz had 21 points and eight assists.
SYR 70, VT 85Virginia Tech vs. Virginia: The No.10 Cavaliers used multiple runs to close out and defeat their arch nemesis the Virginia Tech Hokies, 78-68. Kihei Clark lead the way for the 'Hoos with 20 points and 5 dimes. Armaan Franklin added 15 points and 5 rebounds for UVA. Five Hokies scored in double-figures led by Darius Maddox who scored 13 points.
