WAKE 53, FLAST 70Florida State vs. Clemson: The #23 Seminoles had a chance to get a double-bye in the ACC Tournament, but Tigers dashed those hopes by beating the 'Noles, 74-61. Clemson held Florida State to 34.9% shooting and forced 15 turnovers. Amari Robinson scored 20 points to go with two rebounds, two assists, and two blocks to lead the Tigers. Brie Perpignan added 14 points, seven assists, and four rebounds. Makayla Timpson led Florida State with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Ta'Niya Latson was held to just four points on 1-9 shooting.
FLAST 61, CLEM 74Florida State vs. Wake Forest: The No.23 Seminoles survived a scare on the road to Wake Forest, 61-60. Valencia Myers and Ta'Niya Latson combined to score 33 points and grab 10 boards on the evening for FSU. Elise Williams scored 15 and Niyah Becker scored 12 points for the 'Deacs.
FLAST 61, WAKE 60Georgia Tech vs. Florida State: The #24 Seminoles defeated the Yellow Jackets, 80-66. FSU scored 18 points off of 14 Georgia Tech turnovers. Florida State also shot better than 50% from behind the three-point line, making 8-15 shots. Ta'Niya Latson had a huge game with 31 points, six rebounds, three steals, and two assists. Sara Bejedi added 14 points and four rebounds. For Georgia Tech, Cameron Swartz had 17 points and five rebounds.
GATECH 66, FLAST 80Syracuse vs. Florida State: The No.24 Seminoles took care of business at home surviving a tough 'Cuse squad and got the win, 78-65. Ta'Niya Latson and Makayla Timpson combined for 36 points. Dyaisha Fair scored 19 points and Georgia Woolley chipped in 12 points.
SYR 65, FLAST 78Florida State vs. Miami: The 'Canes used a furious second-half run to battle back and upset rival No.19 Florida State, 86-82. Haley Cavinder led all scorers with 33 points, and knocked down seven three-pointers for the 'Canes. Jasmyne Roberts chipped in 19 points with 6 boards for Miami. Makayla Timpson registered 19 points and 9 rebounds for FSU.
FLAST 82, MIAFL 86Wake Forest vs. Florida State: The No.23 Seminoles continued to keep their winning ways rolling, defeating Wake Forest at home, 72-44. Ta'Niya Latson dropped 19 points and hauled in 5 rebounds to lead FSU. Jewel Spear paced the Demon Deacons with 11 points.
WAKE 44, FLAST 72Duke vs. Florida State: In a game between two Top 25 teams, the #24 Seminoles won big over the #16 Blue Devils, 70-57. The Florida State defense held Duke to just 26.4% shooting for the game, and FSU outscored the Blue Devils 15-9 in second-chance points. Makayla Timpson led the Seminoles with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman sensation Ta'Niya Latson added 15 points and three rebounds. Shayeann Day-Wilson was Duke's leading scorer with 14 points.
DUKE 57, FLAST 70Florida State vs. Notre Dame: The No. 7 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish came away with an impressive 70-47 home win over the No. 24 Florida State Seminoles on Thursday. After a defensive battle in the first half, the Irish got hot in the second stanza. Sonia Citron led all scorers with 19 points on 6-11 shooting to go along with 7 rebounds in the win. Lauren Ebo played very well in her first start, finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Irish. FSU star freshman Ta'Niya Latson was held to single digits for the 1st time this season with 9 points on 3-11 shooting in the loss. The Notre Dame defense was stout, holding the 'Noles to just 28% shooting in the game.
FLAST 47, ND 70Pittsburgh vs. Florida State: The Seminoles had one of the most dominant performances in the ACC this season with a 74-37 win over Pitt. Florida State forced 17 turnovers, blocked 12 shots, and held the Panthers to 15.8% shooting for the game. FSU's Ta'Niya Latson and Sara Bejedi had almost identical stats with each scoring 19 points, grabbing four five rebounds, dishing out four assists, and had one steal. For Pitt, Avery Strickland and Dayshanette Harris each scored nine points.
PITT 37, FLAST 74Florida State vs. Virginia:In a game of runs, The Florida State Seminoles got a nice road win with the 75-68 victory over the Virginia Cavaliers on Thursday. After a back-and-forth affair for most of the game, the 'Noles scored 27 points in the 4th quarter to pull away. Sara Bejedi & Ta'Niya Latson each scored 15 points in the win.
FLAST 77, UVA 68Louisville vs. Florida State: The Cardinals went on the road and pulled out a tightly-fought win over the Seminoles,82-75. Florida State had 22 points off of 18 Louisville turnovers, but the Cardinals overcame that disadvantage by shooting 54.2% from the floor and holding FSU to just 37,9% shooting. Morgan Jones, who transferred to Louisville from Florida State, had a huge game against her former team. Jones had 25 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks. Hailey Van Lith added 20 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, and five steals. Sara Bejedi led Florida State with 25 and two assists.
LOU 82, FLAST 75NC State vs. Florida State: The Seminoles remain undefeated at home and one of the surprises of the ACC as they upset No.11 NC State, 91-72. Ta'Niya Latson lit it up for 31 points on 13 of 16 shooting, and Sara Bejedi scored 21 points for FSU. Diamond Johnson and Mimi Collins each scored 11 for NC State.
NCSU 72, FLAST 91Florida State vs. Boston College: In a tightly contested game throughout, the Eagles were able to defeat the Seminoles in overtime, 77-71. Boston College got out to a fast 8-0 start in overtime and never looked back. Dontavia Waggoner scored a team-high 21 points and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds. Taina Mair added 17 points, seven assists, and six rebounds. For Florida State, Sara Bejedi scored a game-high 26 points. Ta'Niya Latson was held to just 10 points.
FLAST 71, BC 77Clemson vs. Florida State: The Florida State Seminoles won a physical battle at home against Clemson, 93-62. Ta'Niya Latson continued her assault on the ACC, scoring 31 points on 7-16 shooting from the field and 15-15 shooting from the free throw line. It's the fifth time the freshman has scored at least 30 points this season. Four other players scored in double digits for FSU led by Valencia Myers' 12 points on 4-5 shooting from the floor.
