PITT 63, NCSU 68NC State vs. Duke: No. 11 Duke took the home win over NC State, 77-62. Duke got it done on the glass, as they took it to Pack down low with a +19 margin on the boards. Celeste Taylor led all scorers with 21 points for the Blue Devils. She also had 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and a block. Elizabeth Balogun had 16 points and 12 rebounds in a double-double performance. Jada Boyd’s 19 points were the most for the Wolfpack.
NCSU 62, DUKE 77NC State vs. Virginia Tech: No. 11 Virginia Tech picked up a comfortable win on Senior Night over NC State at home, 75-62. The Hokies shot a terrific 56.4% from the floor while only allowing the Wolfpack to convert at a 35.9% clip. Elizabeth Kitley picked up a 24-point, 10-rebound double-double in the win to lead all scorers, while Georgia Amoore followed up with 15 points and 11 assists. For the Pack, Aziaha James had a team-high 20 points in the loss.
NCSU 62, VATECH 75North Carolina vs. NC State: The NC State Wolfpack rallied from 10 points down in the final 5 minutes to force overtime and eventually prevail over No. 19 North Carolina in front of a great crowd in Reynolds Coliseum on Thursday. Jakia Brown-Turner made 4 three-pointers and scored 18 points before fouling out. Aziaha James took over in overtime, scoring 7 of her 17 points in the extra period. Deja Kelly paced UNC with 18 points and 8 rebounds in the loss.
UNC 66, NCSU 77NC State vs. Virginia: The Cavaliers got their first win of the season over a ranked team by defeating the #22 Wolfpack, 71-59. Virginia held NC State to just 29.3% field goal shooting and forced 16 turnovers in order to snap their seven-game losing streak. Taylor Valladay scored a game-high 22 points to go with eight rebounds and seven assists. Camryn Taylor had 15 points and five assists. NC State's Jada Boyd led the Wolfpack with 22 points, three rebounds, two assists, and a block.
NCSU 59, UVA 71NC State vs. Wake Forest: The No.22 Wolfpack avoided a 3-game slide and snapped Wake's home win streak in the process, winning 51-42. Saniya Rivers led the way for the Wolfpack with 12 points on 50% shooting from the field. Jewel Spear paced Wake Forest, scoring 11 points on the night.
NCSU 51, WAKE 42Virginia Tech vs. NC State: The #11 Hokies went on the road and won big over the #22 Wolfpack, 73-61. It's their first win at NC State in program history. Georgia Amoore and Elizabeth Kitley balled out for Virginia Tech, scoring 52 of the Hokies' 73 points. Amoore scored a game-high 27 points on 11-21 shooting, including 5-11 from three. She also had six assists, three rebounds, a block, and a steal. Kitley had a double-double with 25 points and 14 rebounds, plus she had three blocks and two assists. For Virginia Tech, Diamond Johnson made 4-7 three-pointers and had 16 points, three rebounds, and two assists.
VATECH 73, NCSU 61NC State vs. Georgia Tech: The Yellow Jackets scored their biggest upset of the season knocking off No.15 NC State, 68-62. Tonie Morgan notched 17 big points on the night with 10 assists for the Ramblin' Wreck. Nerea Hermosa and Cameron Swartz combined for 26 points for GT. Diamond Johnson was NC State's leading scorer with 17 points.
NCSU 62, GATECH 68Notre Dame vs. NC State: In one of the premiere matchups in the ACC, the #20 Wolfpack defeated the 7th-ranked Fighting Irish, 69-65. NC State led by as many as 14 in the fourth quarter but Notre Dame cut the lead down to two with 2:32 left in the game. Diamond Johnson scored the next four points in the game to help the Wolfpack close out the victory. Johnson finished the game with 20 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Mimi Collins added 13 points and three rebounds for NC State. Maddy Westbeld had a great game for Notre Dame with 19 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, two steals, and a block. Olivia Miles had 13 points, six rebounds, five assists, three steals, and a block.
ND 65, NCSU 69NC State vs. Louisville: In one of the best current rivalries in women's basketball, #20 NC State went on the road and defeated Louisville, 63-51. NC State jumped out to a quick 19-8 lead, but Louisville was able to recover and take a 32-31 lead just before halftime. In the fourth quarter is where the Wolfpack defense took over the game. NC State held Louisville to a season-low 4 points on 1-16 shooting in the fourth quarter. Jada Boyd led the Wolfpack with 15 points and seven rebounds. Diamond Johnson had 12 points six assists, five rebounds, and two steals. Saniya Rivers came off the bench and had 12 points, five assists, and three rebounds. For Louisville, Chrisyln Carr scored a game-high 16 points.
NCSU 63, LOU 51Miami vs. NC State: The NC State Wolfpack snapped a 2-game losing streak with their hard-fought 71-61 win over Miami at home in Reynolds Coliseum on Thursday. It was a balanced scoring attack for the Pack, with 4 players scoring in double figures. Saniya Rivers led the way with a team-high 14 points and a game-high 6 steals in the win. Lola Pendande scored a game-high 21 points on 8-11 shooting in the loss.
MIAFL 61, NCSU 71NC State vs. North Carolina: The 22nd-ranked Tar Heels won their Top 25 matchup against #11 NC State, 56-47. UNC ended the game on a 17-8 run before NC State tacked on a final basket with four seconds left. Neither team shot over 30% for the game, but the Tar Heels made nine three-pointers compared to just five for the Wolfpack. Kennedy Todd-Williams led North Carolina with 15 points, four rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and an assist. Alyssa Ustby had a career-high 18 rebounds, to go with eight points, four assists, and two steals. For NC State, Jakia Brown-Turner scored a team-high 14 points, grabbed four rebounds, and dished out three assists. Camille Hobby had 13 points and six rebounds.
NCSU 47, UNC 56NC State vs. Florida State: The Seminoles remain undefeated at home and one of the surprises of the ACC as they upset No.11 NC State, 91-72. Ta'Niya Latson lit it up for 31 points on 13 of 16 shooting, and Sara Bejedi scored 21 points for FSU. Diamond Johnson and Mimi Collins each scored 11 for NC State.
NCSU 72, FLAST 91Virginia vs. NC State: The Wolfpack took care of business at home, defeating the Cavaliers, 87-62. N State shot a sizzling 57.4% from the field while holding Virginia to just 32.9%. Seven Wolfpack players scored nine or more points. Jada Boyd led the way with 13 points. Camille Hobby had 12 points. five rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Madison Hayes had nine points, seven blocks, and four rebounds. Camryn Taylor led Virginia with 16 points and four rebounds.
UVA 62, NCSU 87Boston College vs. NC State: After losing by 30 to Notre Dame on Sunday, The Eagles bounced back and went on the road to defeat the #10 Wolfpack, 79-71. This was Boston College's first win over a Top 10 team since 2010. NC State has now lost two of their last three games, and two straight at home. Dontavia Waggoner led the way for BC with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists. Taina Mair added 15 points and 10 assists. For NC State, Jada Boyd scored a team-high 20 points and grabbed six rebounds.
