    Virginia Tech vs. North Carolina: The No. 9 Virginia Tech Hokies outlasted the No. 22 North Carolina Tar Heels and got last-second heroics from Elizabeth Kitley to secure the 61-59 road win. Kitley finished with a game-high 21 points and in the 4th quarter became Virginia Tech's all-time leading scorer with 1,884 points. Kayana Traylor added 20 points on 7-13 shooting, including 4-6 from three-point range. Deja Kelly led the Heels with 18 points in the loss.

    Wake Forest vs. North Carolina: The #19 19 North Carolina took control against Wake Forest in the third quarter and never looked back in a 71-58 victory at home. The Tar Heels got it done down low, as they out-rebounded the Demon Deacons by 8 in the win. Deja Kelly dropped a game-high 24 points on 10-20 shooting, and she added 6 assists, 5 boards, and a pair of steals. Destiny Adams and Kennedy Todd-Williams were the only other Tar Heels to finish in double figures, combining for 21 points. For Wake, Jewel Spear had a team-high 19 points in the loss.

    North Carolina vs. NC State: The NC State Wolfpack rallied from 10 points down in the final 5 minutes to force overtime and eventually prevail over No. 19 North Carolina in front of a great crowd in Reynolds Coliseum on Thursday. Jakia Brown-Turner made 4 three-pointers and scored 18 points before fouling out. Aziaha James took over in overtime, scoring 7 of her 17 points in the extra period. Deja Kelly paced UNC with 18 points and 8 rebounds in the loss.

    Boston College vs. North Carolina: The #14 Tar Heels trying to stay in the race for an ACC regular season title, defeated the Eagles 73-55. North Carolina was without three starters, but it didn't matter as UNC led for the overwhelming majority of the game. Freshman Kayla McPherson got the start and made the most of it, scoring 22 points and grabbing six rebounds. Kennedy Todd-Williams had 16 points and nine rebounds. For Boston College, T'Yana Todd led the Eagles with 14 points and had five rebounds.

    North Carolina vs. Syracuse: The Syracuse Orange got a big upset win at home over the No. 14 North Carolina Tar Heels on Thursday, 75-67. Dyaisha Fair had an outstanding 2nd half in the win, scoring 18 of her 23 points after the break. Fair also dished out 7 assists and recorded 3 steals in the win. Georgia Woolley had a terrific game as well, scoring 20 points to go along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals for the Orange. Deja Kelly poured in a career-high in scoring in the loss. Kelly scored 32 points on 13-25 shooting from the floor to go along with 4 rebounds and 2 assists.

    North Carolina vs. Louisville Women's Basketball Highlights (2022-23)

    North Carolina vs. Louisville: The #11 Tar Heels got their eight-game winning streak snapped on the road to the Cardinals, 62-55. For Louisville, it's their second win of the season over a ranked opponent. The Cardinals had a major advantage from beyond the three-point arc, connecting on 8-27 threes while UNC was just 1-12. Chrisyln Carr hit 5-9 three-pointers and scored 17 points in the game. Hailey Van Lith also had 17 points and has 7 rebounds as well. Deja Kelly had a team-high 13 points, three rebounds, three steals, and an assist for North Carolina.

    Virginia vs. North Carolina: The No. 11 North Carolina Tar Heels recovered from a slow start to roll to a 73-62 win over Virginia at home in Carmichael Arena on Thursday. Kayla McPherson had her first double-figures scoring day as a Tar Heel, leading the way with 14 points in her home debut. Deja Kelly added 13 points for the Heels in the win. London Clarkson paced the Cavaliers with 23 points in a losing effort.

    North Carolina vs. Clemson: The #15 Tar Heels have now won seven games in a row after going on the road and defeating the Tigers 69-58. North Carolina shot 41.1 from the floor for the game and hit nine three-pointers. UNC freshman Paulina Paris had a breakout performance, hitting 6-12 three-pointers and scoring a game-high 22 points. She also had five steals in the game. Kennedy Todd-Williams added 15 points and six rebounds. For Clemson, Daisha Bradford had 14 points, six rebounds, four steals, three assists, and a block.

    North Carolina vs. Pittsburgh: The No. 15 North Carolina Tar Heels had to put together a 2nd half comeback to get past the Pittsburgh Panthers on the road, 72-57. Pitt led 33-29 at the half, but the Heels outscored the Panthers 43-24 after the break and put them away with a 17-1 run to open the 4th quarter. Deja Kelly led the way with 23 points and Kennedy Todd-Williams poured in 22 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in the win.

    Georgia Tech vs. North Carolina: The 17th-ranked Tar Heels won their fifth game in a row by defeating the Yellow Jackets, 70-57. UNC outscored Georgia Tech 28-18 inside the paint and scored 15 second-chance points off of 11 offensive rebounds. Deja Kelly led the Tar Heels with 18 points and five rebounds. Alyssa Utsby had another good game with 17 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. Kennedy Todd-Williams added 13 points and seven rebounds. For Georgia Tech, Tonie Morgan had 15 points and eight rebounds.

    Duke vs. North Carolina Women's Basketball Highlights (2022-23)

    Duke vs. North Carolina: In front of a packed house in Carmichael Stadium, the Duke Blue Devils and North Carolina Tar Heels renewed their rivalry on the basketball court with the Tar Heels coming away with a 61-56 win. It was a defensive battle in the 1st half and was tied at 21 at the break, but the offenses came alive in the 2nd stanza with the Heels scoring 40 after the break and the Blue Devils putting up 35. Deja Kelly led UNC with 19 points and Alyssa Ustby scored 16 points on 8-11 shooting in the win. Shayeann Day-Wilson scored a game-high 24 points in a losing effort.

    NC State vs. North Carolina Women's Basketball Highlights (2022-23)

    NC State vs. North Carolina: The 22nd-ranked Tar Heels won their Top 25 matchup against #11 NC State, 56-47. UNC ended the game on a 17-8 run before NC State tacked on a final basket with four seconds left. Neither team shot over 30% for the game, but the Tar Heels made nine three-pointers compared to just five for the Wolfpack. Kennedy Todd-Williams led North Carolina with 15 points, four rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and an assist. Alyssa Ustby had a career-high 18 rebounds, to go with eight points, four assists, and two steals. For NC State, Jakia Brown-Turner scored a team-high 14 points, grabbed four rebounds, and dished out three assists. Camille Hobby had 13 points and six rebounds.
