Deja Kelly dropped a game-high 24 points on 10-20 shooting, and she added 6 assists, 5 boards, and a pair of steals. Destiny Adams and Kennedy Todd-Williams were the only other Tar Heels to finish in double figures, combining for 21 points. For Wake, Jewel Spear had a team-high 19 points in the loss.
WAKE 58, UNC 71NC State vs. Wake Forest: The No.22 Wolfpack avoided a 3-game slide and snapped Wake's home win streak in the process, winning 51-42. Saniya Rivers led the way for the Wolfpack with 12 points on 50% shooting from the field. Jewel Spear paced Wake Forest, scoring 11 points on the night.
NCSU 51, WAKE 42Clemson vs. Wake Forest: The Demon Deacons forced overtime and defeated the Tigers, 69-64. Wake Forest rallied from down by nine to force OT. Jewel Spear scored 20 of Wake's last 27 points in regulation. Spear finished the game with 29 points, six made three-pointers, five rebounds, three assists, and a steal. Alexandria Scruggs had 10 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals after coming in off of the bench. MIAFL 52, WAKE 55Louisville vs. Wake Forest: The Demon Deacons garnered one of their biggest wins of the season as they handed Louisville their second consecutive loss, 68-57. Wake's Jewel Spear was a star of stars going off for 34 points on 8-15 shooting. Morgan Jones led UL with 15 points and Hailey Van Lith was held to 8 points on 4 of 12 shooting.
LOU 57, WAKE 68Wake Forest vs. Virginia Tech: The #12 Hokies defeated the Demon Deacons 74-57. Virginia Tech shot 47.4% from the floor and outscored Wake Forest 38-18 on points in the paint. Elizabeth Kitley was unstoppable, scoring 28 points on 12-15 shooting and she grabbed 12 rebounds. Taylor Soule had 16 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Georgia Amoore added 17 points and six assists. Jewel Spear did her best to lift Wake Forest, scoring 27 points.
WAKE 57, VATECH 74Wake Forest vs. Miami: The Hurricanes stayed hot, winning their fifth game in a row with a 55-43 win over the Demon Deacons. The Miami defense was stifling, forcing 19 turnovers and holding Wake Forest to 30.9% shooting. Destiny Harden scored a game-high 13 points in the win. She also had six assists, three rebounds, and a steal. Ja'Leah Williams had eight points, four rebounds, and three assists. Elise Williams and Alyssa Andrews both scored 10 points for Wake Forest.
WAKE 43, MIAFL 55Wake Forest vs. Notre Dame: The No.7 Irish jumped out early and never looked back as they defeated Wake Forest at home, 86-47. Maddy Westbeld went off for 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Elise Williams led the Demon Deacons with 13 points and 3 assists.
WAKE 47, ND 86Georgia Tech vs. Wake Forest: The Demon Deacons had to survive late against the Yellow Jackets, but they came away with a 51-50 victory. After trailing at halftime, the Clemson defense stepped up and forced Wake Forest to shoot just 33.3% from the field in the second half,while the Tigers made 47.8% of their shots over that same time period. WAKE 59, CLEM 60Pittsburgh vs. Wake Forest: The Wake Forest Demon Deacons put on a dominating performance as they beat the Pittsburgh Panthers, 66-51, helping head coach Megan Gabbia earn her first ACC win. Jewel Spear led the way with 22 points in the win, but it was the Deacs' defense that got the job done, holding the Panthers to 34% shooting from the floor, including just 1-10 from three-point range.
