A's complete sweep of Rangers
Jun 26, 2015 - 12:41 AM Arlington, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Josh Reddick drove in three runs and the Oakland Athletics completed a three-game sweep of the Texas Rangers with a 6-3 victory on Thursday.Sam Fuld hit a two-run single and Ben Zobrist also brought in a run for the A's, who have won five straight games and nine of their last 11.
"We're playing great baseball right now," said Reddick.

Mitch Moreland homered among his three hits and added two RBI for the Rangers, who have dropped their last five games.
"We know that there are going to be stretches like this," Texas manager Jeff Bannister said. "How you react to them, bounce back from them and answer them is the most important thing."
Oakland went ahead with a three-run seventh. Keone Kela (4-5) replaced Colby Lewis and retired the first two batters he faced before giving up singles to Billy Burns and Eric Sogard.

Drew Pomeranz and Edward Mujica combined for two scoreless innings of relief, while Tyler Clippard notched his 13th save of the season with a 1-2-3 ninth.
The Rangers threatened in the third after Shin-Soo Choo and Prince Fielder each singled with two outs to place runners on the corners, but Gray fanned Adrian Beltre to end the frame.
Moreland put Texas on the board an inning later with a solo blast to left- center field. Joey Gallo followed with a double and slid home after Robinson Chirinos stroked a single into the hole in left for a 2-0 game.
In the fifth, Zobrist, Brett Lawrie and Ike Davis all walked to load the bases with one out. Two batters later, Fuld tied the game with a two-run single to center.
Texas reclaimed the lead in the home half after Fielder doubled and scored on Mitch Moreland's base hit to center for a 3-2 score.
