Final
Reds-Dodgers Preview

Cincinnati (71-51) at Los Angeles (62-61), 4:10 p.m. EDT
After the Cincinnati Reds had a season-high seven-game win streak snapped, it might be tough to bounce back given Bronson Arroyo's poor history at Dodger Stadium.
Although Arroyo has been stellar on the road since the start of June, he has never beaten the Los Angeles Dodgers away from home heading into Sunday's series finale.
Cincinnati (71-52) fell 8-5 on Saturday, and saw its lead in the NL Central cut to 3 1/2 games over St. Louis. The Reds also had an eight-game road win streak snapped.
Los Angeles (63-61) has won 13 of 14 home games against Cincinnati, and welcomed Manny Ramirez back to the lineup. Ramirez, coming off his third stint on the disabled list and second because of a right calf strain, was 0 for 3 with two strikeouts and left the game after five innings as four other Dodgers homered.
"To be honest, it really does change the dynamic of the lineup, having a guy in there like Manny," first baseman Jay Gibbons said. "It's contagious."
Ramirez has only had one career at-bat against former Boston teammate Arroyo (13-7, 3.87 ERA), who is 0-3 with a 5.82 ERA in four career starts at Dodger Stadium. His teams have lost eight of his 10 starts against Los Angeles, although one of the victories came June 17 when he yielded one run over seven innings of a 7-1 home win. He also hit a three-run homer.
Arroyo is 5-1 with a 1.72 ERA over his last seven road starts, including consecutive victories. He started this nine-game road trip by yielding two runs over 7 1-3 innings in a 6-2 victory at Arizona on Tuesday.
The right-hander is vying for his 100th victory, and will try to provide rest for a bullpen that worked five innings Saturday.
The Reds should have a tough assignment in facing Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw (11-7, 3.03), who is 4-0 with a 1.60 ERA in six day starts this year. He was stellar Tuesday, allowing five hits over seven innings in a 6-0 win over Colorado.
"Other than a couple of walks to the leadoff hitter, which you really can't do, I thought I threw the ball OK," Kershaw said.
The left-hander is 1-0 with a 1.88 ERA in two career starts against the Reds, with 18 strikeouts over 14 1-3 innings. NL batting leader Joey Votto is 1 for 7 with five strikeouts in his career against Kershaw.
Votto is homerless in his last 10 games, and had two hits and two RBIs Saturday. He's 11 for 30 with three homers and 10 RBIs against the Dodgers this year.
Manager Dusty Baker indicated that third baseman Scott Rolen may get the day off Sunday. Shortstop Orlando Cabrera, out since Aug. 2 because of a strained muscle on his left side, could be activated off the disabled list for this game.
Scott Podsednik was not in the Dodgers' starting lineup Saturday for the first time since he was acquired from Kansas City on July 28. Podsednik is 5 for 10 with three doubles lifetime against Arroyo.
