The Reds won their third straight in the series on Wednesday in dramatic fashion, when Todd Frazier's solo home run to right field with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning gave them a 2-1 win.
Facing Cristhian Martinez (2-1), Frazier drove an 0-1 pitch barely over the wall for his fourth homer of the year, giving the Reds their fifth walk-off win of the season.
Jay Bruce drove in the other run for Cincinnati, which won its season-high fifth straight game.
Bronson Arroyo, making the 300th start of his major-league career, allowed four hits, walked two and had seven strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings in the start for the Reds.
Aroldis Chapman (4-0) fanned two in the ninth to get the win.
Tommy Hanson threw six innings, yielding four hits and a run while fanning five for Atlanta.
Dan Uggla homered in the fourth inning for the Braves.
Bailey, who turned 26 earlier this month, faced Atlanta on May 14 at Turner Field and got a no-decision in the Reds' 3-1 win after allowing a single run on six hits in 6 2/3 innings with two walks and three strikeouts.
It was his second career meeting with the Braves, following a July 23, 2011 outing in which he gave up two runs on five hits in six innings of an 11-2 win.
In one start since this season's meeting, Bailey pitched 6 1/3 innings of three-run ball while scattering seven hits and striking out a season-high seven in the Reds' 6-5 win over the Yankees in New York.
Cincinnati is 4-4 in the eight games he's pitched.
The Braves counter with 22-year-old righty Randall Delgado, who got a no- decision in the meeting with Bailey and the Reds this month.
He allowed an unearned run on four hits in 6 2/3 innings in the game, which was the fifth in a now six-start streak since he last won on April 17.
Delgado opened the season with consecutive defeats of Houston and the New York Mets while allowing five runs on 12 hits in 10 1/3 innings, but is 0-4 in six outings since, though his earned run average has been pared from 4.35 to 4.26.
The Braves are 3-5 in his eight starts.
The Reds have won six of their past seven versus the Braves.
