O's aim to continue mastery of BoSox

The Orioles swept the Red Sox at Fenway earlier in the year, but haven't done so both on the road and at home since turning the trick back in 1960.
Baltimore continued its recent mastery of Boston on Wednesday, as Mark Reynolds' two- run double highlighted a five-run sixth inning in the Orioles' 5-3 triumph. Matt Wieters, Adam Jones and Nate McLouth knocked in one run each for the Orioles, who have won nine of their last 11.
Miguel Gonzalez (5-2) earned the win after giving up two runs on six hits over six innings.
Jim Johnson tossed a perfect ninth to pick up his 35th save.
Carl Crawford drove in a pair of runs and Jacoby Ellsbury went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Red Sox, who have lost six of eight and 10 of their last 15.
Aaron Cook (3-6) carried a no-hitter into the sixth, but was tagged for five runs -- two earned -- on three hits over 5 1/3 innings to absorb the loss.
"He really pitched well for the five innings and was fielding his position really well during that time," said Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine.
Getting the call for Baltimore this evening will be righty Chris Tillman, who is 5-2 with a 3.40 ERA, but had his four-start winning streak stopped his last time out. Tillman was hammered by the Kansas City Royals for six runs and six hits in 5 2/3 innings on Saturday.
"Frustrating night. I was working up in the zone," Tillman said after that start. "Didn't have my breaking ball going. Didn't have it the whole game."
Tillman is 0-1 in two starts against the Red Sox and has pitched to a 5.68 ERA in those outings.
Hoping to avoid the O's brooms tonight will be right-hander Clay Buchholz, who has won his last two decisions. Buchholz went the distance to beat the Cleveland Indians his last time out, holding the Tribe to two runs (1 earned) and two hits. He also struck out six without walking a batter to run his record to 10-3, while lowering his ERA to 4.24.
"Confidence is rolling," Buchholz said. "For the most part of the season, after the first five or six starts, I feel like I've been able to do what I want to do with the ball even if the results haven't been what I want them to be."
Buchholz tossed a four-hit shutout to beat the Orioles the last time he faced them and is 6-3 in 12 starts against them with a 3.67 ERA.
The Orioles are 8-3 against the Red Sox this season.
