Cubs look to keep rolling at home

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Chicago Cubs look to complete a perfect homestand when they host the Colorado Rockies in the final game of a four-game set on Sunday.

Chicago has won seven straight games at Wrigley Field, six during its current homestand, and own the best home record in the National League at 25-8.

The Cubs rallied from an eight-run deficit to post a 10-9 victory Friday and hung on for a 5-4 triumph Saturday over the Rockies, who have lost six straight contests. Alfonso Soriano homered and drove in three runs in Saturday's win.

Sean Gallagher (2-1, 4.50 ERA) looks to build on the success from his last start when he toes the rubber for Chicago. The 22-year-old righthander pitched a career-high seven innings on Tuesday, earning the win while allowing just one run in a 3-1 victory over Los Angeles.

Colorado, which is still looking for its first win during the 10-game road trip, will counter with Ubaldo Jimenez (1-5, 5.37).

The righthander has not won since April 8, losing his last four decisions, including a 7-4 setback to Philadelphia on Tuesday. Jimenez allowed all seven runs and 10 hits in just four innings of work.
