Mar 5, 2009 - 11:37 PM SCOTTSDALE, Arizona (Ticker) -- Corey Wimberly delivered a two-run single in the second inning Thursday, leading a split squad of Oakland Athletics to a 4-2 victory over the San Francisco Giants.

Wimberly's only hit in four at-bats capped a three-run second innings.

Oakland starter Trevor Cahill allowed one run and one hit in three innings.

Jesus Guzman hit a solo homer for the Giants.
