David West finished with 16 points and eight rebounds, while Lance Stephenson scored 13 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists in the win.
Roy Hibbert and C.J. Watson each added 10 points for Indiana, which has won five of six overall and seven of the last 10 meetings over Sacramento.
"The biggest thing that we did tonight was just run," said George. "We got a couple of days to rest to get our legs under us and that's one thing coach told us to get that energy we've had."
DeMarcus Cousins recorded his 11th straight double-double with 31 points and 13 rebounds for the Kings, who had their three-game winning streak snapped. Rudy Gay added 12 points in the loss.
Indiana opened up an 11-2 lead in the first 3 1/2 minutes of the game when Sacramento went on an 8-0 run capped by a jumper from Gay.
The Pacers answered with a quick 8-2 sprint and led 25-20 at the end of one quarter.
Jimmer Fredette knocked down a 3 to tie the game at 27 early in the second frame and then hit a running floater 1 1/2 minutes later to give Sacramento its first lead, 31-29.
Danny Granger then hit a trey to jumpstart a 10-2 spurt that Luis Scola capped it with a jumper for a 39-33 Indiana lead.
Cousins hit a pair at the line to cut the deficit to five and the Pacers locked in on the defensive end for the remainder of the half. Indiana followed with a 14-2 run, highlighted by a reverse slam from George and he would cap the surge with a 3 to give the Pacers a 55-38 lead with just under three minutes left in the half.
Stephenson drove the lane and threw a no-look pass to West inside, who finished a layup to conclude the first half scoring and help the Pacers to a 59-45 lead at the break.
Indiana led comfortably for the majority of the third quarter until Cousins went on an 8-2 run all by himself to cut the deficit to 79-71 with 1 1/2 minutes to go in the third.
West responded with two straight buckets and George ended the quarter after a Thornton trey with a buzzer-beating 3 to make it an 86-72 game heading into the fourth.
Indiana put the game away with a 17-4 surge to open the final quarter. George had 10 points during the sequence to help the Pacers build a 103-78 lead.
The margin swelled to as many as 29 before the starters were replaced and the reserves finished it off for Indiana.
"For the most part we couldn't stop their transition basketball," said Gay. "They were playing great, they aren't really a transition team. In the second half they scored off of our turnovers and made it a lot easier for them."
