The Heat never trailed and led by as many as 11, but it was a one-possession game in the final seconds after the Nets scored four quick points, beginning with Joe Johnson's bucket in the paint with 14.8 seconds remaining.
The Nets then tied up Wade after the inbounds pass, forcing a jump ball they won. Jarrett Jack rattled in a runner with 5.2 seconds left to make it 86-84, but Bosh knocked down two free throws at the other end to collect the last of his 26 points and seal the win for Miami.
Hassan Whiteside added 11 points and 10 rebounds off the bench for the Heat, who avoided what would have been their first five-game losing streak in almost four years.
"You don't take winning for granted when you're having a season like we (are) right now," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said.
Johnson scored 19 points and Brook Lopez had 16 for the Nets, who had a three- game winning streak snapped to finish a 2-1 homestand.
"We couldn't stop Bosh. We couldn't stop Wade," Nets coach Lionel Hollins said.
Bosh scored eight points in the first quarter and the Heat shot 60 percent from the field for a 30-21 lead going into the second.
Miami led by as much as 11 points in the first quarter and then again several times down the stretch in the second, including once on Bosh's jumper with about a minute left.
The Nets trimmed it to 49-40 at halftime and Johnson scored eight points in the third quarter to get them within 64-59 going into the fourth. It remained in single digits the rest of the way.
