Pacers down Bucks in OT

Mar 13, 2015 - 6:49 AM Indianapolis, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Rodney Stuckey contributed 25 points in the Indiana Pacers' 109-103 overtime win against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night.

Luis Scola and George Hill each tallied 17 points in Indiana's seventh straight win, with Scola grabbing a season-high 15 rebounds.

"We've got to be more disciplined. To our guy's credit, they grinded it out and got a win," Indiana coach Frank Vogel said.

C.J. Miles added 14 points and Ian Mahinmi grabbed 10 boards in place of Roy Hibbert, who missed the contest with a sore left elbow.

Michael Carter-Williams had his best offensive output since being acquired by the Bucks, scoring 28 points with eight rebounds and four assists.

"Everybody gave everything they had. There's a lot of good stuff on the road against a team that is playing extremely well," Milwaukee coach Jason Kidd said.

Ersan Ilyasova had 19 points with 10 rebounds and Khris Middleton chipped in with 18 in the setback.

Zaza Pachulia, who scored 16 with 12 rebounds, opened the overtime session with a pair of free throws after Mahinmi was whistled for a flagrant-1 foul, then the Pacers scored the next nine points with Stuckey's jumper making it a 105-98 game.

The Bucks cut it to four over the final 1:30, but Hill converted two free throws with 16.7 seconds left to seal the win.

Miles and C.J. Watson canned back-to-back 3-pointers to help the Pacers grab a 79-71 lead late in the third. Carter-Williams followed with three free throws over the next 50 seconds, but Stuckey nailed a shot from long range to send Indiana into the fourth with an 82-74 lead.

After a Stuckey bucket pushed Indiana's margin to 10, Giannis Antetokounmpo netted five straight points as part of an 11-2 run that brought the Bucks back within one.

The Pacers held a five-point lead on a couple of occasions down the stretch, but Ilyasova busted off five straight late to tie the game at 96-96. He missed a free throw that would have given the visitors the lead, then each team came up empty on the offensive end as the game went to overtime.

It was a tale of two quarters for both teams in the opening half, as Milwaukee shot 50 percent from the floor in the first quarter and led 31-19 entering the second.

Indiana then got its shooting touch in the second, converting 10-of-18 (55.6 percent) attempts to get back into the game by halftime, trailing 53-51 at the break.
