Bucks aim for sixth straight win against Grizzlies

Dec 27, 2006 - 4:38 PM Milwaukee (14-14) at Memphis (6-23) 8:00 pm EST

MEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) -- The Milwaukee Bucks are playing their best basketball of the season. They figure to continue that play against one of the worst teams in the NBA.

Riding a five-game winning streak, the Bucks visit the lowly Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.

Michael Redd scored 36 points and Mo Williams added 23 as the Bucks held on for a wild 114-107 victory over San Antonio on Tuesday.

Andrew Bogut collected 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Bucks, who attacked a porous Spurs defense to win in San Antonio for the first time since December 23, 2001.

This is Milwaukee's longest winning streak since reeling off eight in a row from January 8-21, 2002.

Rookie Alexander Johnson collected season highs of 23 points and 10 rebounds Tuesday as the Grizzlies posted their sixth straight road loss, a 116-101 defeat at the hands of Washington.
