Bibby, Kings try to rebound at home vs. Trail Blazers

Jan 6, 2007 - 5:14 PM Portland (13-20) at Sacramento (14-16) 10:00 pm EST

SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- The Sacramento Kings, coming off a draining loss, may get some relief when they host the struggling Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday.

The Kings have won three straight games vs. the Trail Blazers but haven't won four in a row vs. Portland since winning seven consecutive from January 13, 1974 to February 5, 1975.

Mike Bibby (38) and Corliss Williamson (18) both had season-highs in a 132-128 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday. Kevin Martin had 21 points and Ron Artest added 18 before he fouled out while trying to guard superstar Kobe Bryant.

The Kings shouldn't have as much trouble with the Trail Blazers, who matched their season-low in scoring in a 99-81 loss to the New York Knicks on Wednesday.

Zach Randolph had 15 points and Brandon Roy added 14 for Portland, which has lost four straight and six of its last seven games.

Jarrett Jack 11 points and seven assists for the Trail Blazers, who have lost 10 of their last 14 games at the King's Arco Arena. Sacramento has not won four straight over the Blazers since winning seven in a row from January 13, 1974-February 5, 1975.
