Harrington, Warriors continue road trip, face Bobcats

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) -- The Golden State Warriors hope to even their record on a six-game road trek when they travel to Charlotte to face the Bobcats.

The Warriors edged the Philadelphia 76ers 102-101 on Friday. Baron Davis scored 25 points and added 12 assists and Monta Ellis added 21 points for Golden State, which won the game on a basket by Al Harrington with 1.2 seconds remaining.

Stephen Jackson had 17 points and Harrington added 11 and eight rebounds for the Warriors, who blasted Charlotte 131-105 last Saturday.

The Hornets suffered another thumping, 101-81, at the hands of Cleveland on Friday. Gerald Wallace scored 16 points and rookie Adam Morrison had 14 off the bench for the Bobcats, who failed to reach the 100-point mark for the first time in five games.

Raymond Felton had 10 points but Emeka Okafor had only eight and seven rebounds for Charlotte, which was playing without key frontcourt members Sean May, Primoz Brezec, and Othella Harrington, as well as point guard Brevin Knight.

Golden State, which is only 5-17 on the road, is 4-1 all-time against Charlotte.
