Knicks look to carry momentum over against Warriors

Feb 14, 2007 - 4:30 PM New York (23-29) at Golden State (24-29) 10:30 pm EST

OAKLAND, California (Ticker) -- Jamal Crawford and Eddy Curry hope to finish off a winning road trip for the New York Knicks.

After blowing a 10-point fourth-quarter lead in a loss at Utah, the Knicks bounced back with a 107-106 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. They close the trip against the Golden State Warriors before heading into the All-Star break.

Crawford was the playmaker on the final possession, setting up Curry for the winning dunk in the final seconds against the Lakers.

Crawford scored 24 points and Curry added 19 and seven rebounds for the Knicks, who survived 31 points by superstar Kobe Bryant, who did not play in the first meeting between the teams on January 30 after being suspended for elbowing San Antonio guard Manu Ginobili.

The Warriors fell to Denver, 123-111 on Monday. Al Harrington scored 24 points and Kelenna Azubuike added 23 for the Warriors, who dropped to 6-20 on the road with the loss.

Already without Mickael Pietrus and Jason Richardson, Golden State also was missing Baron Davis, who underwent arthroscopic knee surgery on Tuesday.
