Walker leads Bobcats past Hawks
Dec 20, 2011 - 2:46 AM Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) - Kemba Walker had a successful pro debut with 18 points, including the go-ahead jumper in the final minute to lead the Bobcats over the Hawks, 79-77, in preseason play.Boris Diaw added 12 points and Derrick Brown posted 10 points and 10 rebounds for Charlotte, which won despite getting outscored, 46-24, in the paint.
Al Horford and Josh Smith each scored 11 points for Atlanta, which had a chance after Walker's go-ahead jumper, but Donald Sloan missed twice down the stretch to seal the outcome.
