Raptors visit Horford-less Hawks

Jan 16, 2012 - 3:49 PM (Sports Network) - The Al Horford-less Atlanta Hawks will continue a four-game homestand Monday afternoon versus the Toronto Raptors at Philips Arena.

Horford is out 3-to-4 months with a torn pectoral muscle for the Hawks, who have won two straight and five of six games. Atlanta improved to 2-0 on the residency with Saturday's 93-91 triumph over Minnesota, as Ivan Johnson scored his team's final four points, including the game-winning free throw with 4.6 seconds remaining.

Johnson finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds off the bench, while Joe Johnson poured in a team-high 25 points and Jeff Teague added 20.

"Guys stepped up," said Teague. "Ivan Johnson, Willie Green, Jason Collins, all those guys on the bench came up big for us."

Green had 10 points in a winning cause. The Hawks will close out the homestand Wednesday versus Portland. Guard Tracy McGrady (back) is listed as questionable for Monday's matchup with Toronto.

Meanwhile, the Raptors will continue a three-game road trip today and started the trek with Saturday's 77-64 loss at Chicago in which star center Andrea Bargnani missed his second straight game with a strained left calf.

DeMar DeRozan and Leandro Barbosa each netted 15 points for Toronto, which has lost four in a row and six of seven games. Amir Johnson finished with six points and 13 rebounds, and James Johnson netted 12 points for the Raptors.

"We are still not where we need to be," Raptors head coach Dwane Casey said. "It's a work in progress."

The Raptors will also visit Boston before returning home to host Portland. They will then return to the road for five straight games against the Clippers, Suns, Jazz, Nuggets and Nets.

Bargnani is expected to miss Monday's game and Johnson (ankle) is listed as questionable for this afternoon's game on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Atlanta, which is 5-1 on the season at home, swept a three-game series from Toronto a year ago and has won 10 of the past 12 meetings in this series. The Raptors are winless in their last six trips to the Peach State.
