Still without Wade, Heat torch Sixers

Jan 22, 2012 - 5:13 AM Miami, FL (Sports Network) - With Dwyane Wade out for a third straight game with a sprained right ankle, LeBron James and Chris Bosh combined for 58 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists as the Miami Heat routed the Philadelphia 76ers, 113-92, in a rematch of last year's Eastern Conference first-round series.

Bosh had 30 points to go with seven boards and five assists. James provided 28 points, nine rebounds and five assists for the Heat, who moved to 6-0 this season without Wade, a seven-time All-Star.

"He definitely does a lot of the scoring, but he's also going to find people too," Miami center Joel Anthony said of James.

Lou Williams netted 22 points for the 76ers, who have lost two of three.

"They were ready tonight. They were very very sharp from the start. We fought, hung around there a little bit and stuff. They wore us down," Philadelphia head coach Doug Collins said.

Philadelphia hung tough in last year's five-game playoff series, but the star power of James, Wade and Bosh proved to be too much for the upstart 76ers.

It was a similar story on Saturday night -- besides Wade being out.

James netted eight points while Bosh added seven as Miami took a slim 29-28 lead into the second.

With James on the bench to start the second stanza, the Heat outscored the Sixers 13-6 to begin the quarter as Miami pushed its advantage to eight, 42-34, with 7:33 left in the first half. Miami took a 56-49 advantage into the break.

Bosh had 16 points while James added 12 points to pace Miami in the opening half.

The Heat took an 81-69 lead into the final quarter and Bosh's jumper gave the Heat a 92-73 advantage in the fourth.

But an 8-0 Sixers run cut the deficit to 11, 92-81, midway through the final quarter. That was as close as Philadelphia got as a 10-2 Miami spurt, capped by a Udonis Haslem jumper, put the game away.
