Hawks resume road trip against Jazz

The Jazz have a 21-7 home mark and Atlanta is only 14-13 outside the state of Georgia.
But the Hawks are 2-0 thus far and have won three straight, including a home victory over the Sacramento Kings on Friday. They triumphed in Milwaukee and in Detroit to start this six-game sojourn, which took a sharp turn west with Wednesday's game.
Against the Pistons on Monday, the Hawks dispatched the Pistons, 114-103. It marked the fourth straight road win and the third straight with over 100 points.
"This being the second game of a six-game road trip, we had an opportunity to get a win if we played well," said head coach Larry Drew. "We did a good job tonight."
Al Horford was sensational on Monday with 23 points and 22 rebounds. Jeff Teague added 20 points and 12 assists and Josh Smith had 23 points and seven rebounds.
Kyle Korver netted 15 points on 5-for-7 3-point shooting. He has now made at least one 3-pointer in 49 consecutive games, which is the longest streak both in the NBA at the moment and in Korver's career.
The Jazz have dropped two straight, including a home defeat Monday, in overtime, to the Boston Celtics.
"Tough loss. I thought our guys played hard for the most part," said Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin. "I'm proud of the fact that our guys continued to compete."
The third quarter was rough on the Jazz. They were outscored 32-19, but fought back with a hodgepodge group of bench players and a few starters to take the fourth by eight.
Gordon Hayward had a big night off the bench for Utah with 26 points on 7- for-16 shooting and 4-for-7 3-point shooting. Marvin Williams, Paul Millsap and Al Jefferson also scored in double figures.
Utah's defense has been suspect of late. They've allowed 100 or more points in three straight, and after a home game on Friday, head east for four games in six nights.
Millsap is listed as a game-time decision for Wednesday with a sprained left ankle.
The Hawks have won three in a row over the Jazz. Atlanta bested Utah at home earlier this season and has taken the last two meetings in Salt Lake City after losing the previous 15 games there.
