Nuggets aim to stay on track versus Magic

The Nuggets will try to complete a perfect three-game homestand versus the Magic and are coming off Thursday's 101-88 beating of the mighty Oklahoma City Thunder thanks to Ty Lawson's fifth consecutive double-double of 16 points and 14 assists.
Randy Foye ended with 24 points and Evan Fournier made a career-high four 3- pointers for 19 points off the Nuggets' bench.
"The whole team is on the same page and we all want to get better and move forward and get a good spot for the playoffs," Fournier said.
Denver has won three in a row at home and is 10-8 in the Mile High City. It played without forward Wilson Chandler due to a strained left groin and he is questionable Saturday. Chandler is averaging 12.8 points per game.
The Nuggets have scored 100 or more points in each of their last five games and are posting an average of 102.1 ppg this season.
Meanwhile, the Magic will try to avoid losing a season-high seventh straight game when they resume a five-game western jaunt Saturday. The Magic dropped to 0-3 on the trek with Friday's 103-83 setback at Sacramento.
Tobias Harris and Arron Afflalo scored 16 and 15 points, respectively, while Victor Oladipo added 13 points and Glen Davis compiled 12 and 12 rebounds. Orlando shot 33.3 percent and is winless in its last four road tests.
"The shots weren't falling, but at the same time we still have to defend and be able to hold down that floor," Harris said. "I'll give them the credit, they made a lot of tough shots and their offense was clicking and rolling."
The Kings outscored the Magic, 57-43, in the second half and had a 54-37 rebounding advantage.
Orlando, which will close the road trip next week in Dallas, has won only three times in 18 away assignments in 2013-14 and split two matchups with Denver last season. The Magic have lost four in a row and nine of their past 10 trips to Denver.
Orlando and Denver are scheduled to meet again March 12 in the Magic Kingdom.
