Bulls visit Central-rival Pistons

The Bulls visited Barclays Center on Monday night and left with a lopsided loss, a 96-80 setback to the Brooklyn Nets.
"We're disappointed...but you got to bounce back," said Joakim Noah, who was limited to 10 points and six rebounds.
D.J. Augustin had 16 points off the bench and Jimmy Butler scored 13 for the Bulls. Carlos Boozer registered a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.
Newly-signed Jimmer Fredette played just under three minutes on Monday and went 1-for-2 from the field for two points.
This loss stung, but the Bulls have still played fantastic basketball since the start of 2014. They have been 21-9 since the calendar turned and are a half-game behind the Toronto Raptors for the third seed in the Eastern Conference.
After Wednesday's tilt, the Bulls are home for six straight, facing, among others, the Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Pistons stopped a four-game slide on Monday night with a 96-85 home victory over the New York Knicks.
Andre Drummond scored 17 points and grabbed a career-high 26 rebounds while playing 46-plus minutes for the Pistons, who fell behind by 14 early in the contest. It was the fourth 20-plus rebounding night of the season for the second-year Drummond.
Will Bynum scored all 16 of his points in the fourth quarter, Rodney Stuckey also netted 16 and Josh Smith added 15 for the victors. Greg Monroe chipped in 11 for the Pistons.
"It was a total team effort," Pistons head coach John Loyer said. "They were a pleasure to coach tonight."
The Pistons hit the road, starting Friday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, then on Sunday versus the Boston Celtics.
These Central Division rivals have split two meetings this season with the visitor prevailing each time. The Bulls have won 19 of the last 21 matchups and are 9-1 in their last 10 at The Palace.
