(SportsNetwork.com) - The Phoenix Suns hope to put the brakes on a three-game losing streak when they host the Utah Jazz Friday night.

The Suns are coming off a 108-87 beating at the hands of the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday.

Markieff Morris tallied 18 points and eight rebounds and Eric Bledsoe provided 17 points and seven boards for Phoenix, which has dropped five of its last seven contests.

"Towards the fourth, they went on a run and they beat us. We weren't able to get back into the game," Morris said.

Phoenix is 15-10 at home and just went 6-2 on a recent stay in the desert.

The Suns will visit Sacramento on Sunday.

Utah has dropped two in a row, four of five and six of its last nine games.

In a 100-90 loss versus the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, Enes Kanter finish with 16 points and 10 boards. Gordon Hayward chipped in 15 points and Derrick Favors netted 11 in the loss.

Despite trailing by as many as 16, Utah battled and had the game within two possessions with 10 minutes to play on Chris Johnson's 3-pointer. Kosta Koufos responded at the other end with a floater that started a 10-2 run and gave the Grizzlies some breathing room.

Burke's 3-pointer with 5:25 remaining cut the deficit to 89-81, but that is as close as the Jazz would get down the stretch.

"It's always bad when you lose, regardless of how you played or regardless of how anyone played. You want to win the game," " said Burke. "Especially losing two in a row, that kind of hurts. We felt like we had a chance to win last night (in Portland) and then coming in tonight and losing another tough game is tough."

The Jazz are 8-17 outside Salt Lake City and will host Sacramento on Saturday.

Utah defeated Phoenix, 118-91, on Nov. 1 and Favors led the way with a career- high 32 points.

The Suns and Jazz will meet again April 4 in the Valley of the Sun.
