"It was a good win and we needed it, but it shouldn't have been like it was," Tucker said. "We should come out full of energy in a game like this when we've lost close games."

Victor Oladipo ended with a career-high 38 points on 15-of-25 shooting for the Magic, who have lost four in a row. Nikola Vucevic and Tobias Harris contributed 18 and 11 points, respectively.

Knight missed a layup but Eric Bledsoe came down with the offensive rebound. The Suns went 6-of-6 from the line in the final 13.2 seconds to secure the victory.

"We've got to find out a way to come out better in the second half," Oladipo said. "We've got to put a whole game together if we want to win games."

The Magic jumped out to a 52-37 lead with 58 seconds remaining in the first half. However, Phoenix scored the next six points to get within 52-43 at the break.
