A pair of winless teams meet when Bulls visit Bucks

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- A pair of teams looking for their first win collide on Saturday when the Chicago Bulls visit the Milwaukee Bucks.

Chicago is winless in its first two games for the first time in three seasons when it suffered through a 0-9 start. Meanwhile, Milwaukee is trying to avoid beginning 0-3 for the first time since the 1976-77 season.

With trade rumors for Kobe Bryant continue to swirl, the Bulls lost in overtime at New Jersey on Wednesday and dropped their home opener to Philadelphia, 96-85, on Friday.

Ben Gordon led Chicago in scoring last season and has scored 52 points in the two games to begin this campaign. Second-year player Tyrus Thomas scored over 20 points for just the third time in his career on Friday, netting 21 along with a career-high 12 rebounds.

The Bucks have lost their first two games on the road against Orlando and Charlotte, respectively.

Michael Redd, who averaged 26.7 points last season, is the only player who has scored in double figures in both games so far this campaign for Milwaukee.

Bucks rookie Yi Jianlian has gotten off to a slow start. The sixth overall pick scored nine points and fouled out against the Magic on Wednesday.

Jianlian then played only 15 minutes while battling foul trouble again on Friday, netting two points on 1-of-6 shooting.

Milwaukee lost all four games it played against Chicago last season, but have won its last four home openers.
