Nash, Suns look to bounce back vs. Cavaliers

Nov 4, 2007 - 2:55 PM Cleveland (1-1) at Phoenix (1-1) 8:00 pm EDT

PHOENIX (Ticker) -- The Phoenix Suns will try to rebound when they welcome in LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday.

In Friday's home opener, Leandro Barbosa scored 23 points off the bench but it was not enough as Phoenix dropped a 119-98 setback to the Los Angeles Lakers.

A large part of the loss could be the lack of offensive from All-Star Amare Stoudemire, who netted just seven points on 2-of-10 shooting.

James enters after posting a 45-point effort as the Cavaliers picked up their first win of the season with Friday's 110-106 victory over the New York Knicks.

Cleveland hopes to keep the momentum going, especially against the Suns, who swept in the season series last season. The Cavaliers have not won here since March 10, 1999 - a span of six meetings.

Cavaliers swingman Sasha Pavlovic should be availible for action after ending his holdout, inking a three-year contract extension earlier in the week.

Phoenix has captured 13 of the last 16 matchups over Cleveland since the 1999-2000 campaign.
