Raptors aim to rebound vs. Bucks

Nov 6, 2007 - 2:14 PM Toronto (2-1) at Milwaukee (1-2) 8:00 pm EST

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- The Toronto Raptors hope to bounce back when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks in an Eastern Conference matchup on Tuesday.

After winning its first two games, the Raptors endured their first loss Sunday, a 98-95 setback to the Boston Celtics.

Last season's No. 1 overall selection, Andrea Bargnani has been solid in his second campaign with two 20-point performances. The development of Bargnani along with Chris Bosh and T.J. Ford gives the Raptors three reliable players to build around for the future.

Ford is averaging 14.3 points and 9.8 assists against the Bucks, who drafted the speedy guard eighth overall out of Texas in 2003. He was dealt to Toronto after two season in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee is coming off its first win of the season, a 78-72 triumph over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday behind Michael Redd's 27-point outburst.

Chinese import Yi Jianlian put together his best outing of his young rookie campaign, collecting 16 points and eight rebounds following two lackluster games. He was taken sixth overall in June's draft.

Last season, the Raptors took three of four meetings away from the Bucks, who dropped both matchups here by double figures.
