Bulls seek first win vs. undefeated Clippers

Nov 6, 2007 - 2:21 PM LA Clippers (2-0) at Chicago (0-3) 8:30 pm EST

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Chicago Bulls try to pick up their first win of the season when they host the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night.

The opening week was unkind to the Bulls, who are looking to avoid starting winless through the first four games since the 2004-05 campaign.

On Saturday, Chicago had just three players finish in double figures and shot 35 percent from the field of a 78-72 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.

While the Bulls stumbled, the Clippers captured both of their opening-week matchups, including Sunday's 115-101 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics.

Corey Maggette scored 27 points and Tim Thomas added 20 for Los Angeles, which is trying to began the season with a 3-0 mark for the second time in three years.

With Clippers All-Star forward Elton Brand sidelined due to an Achilles' tendon injury, Chris Kaman has stepped up his game to record back-to-back double-doubles.

The Clippers swept the season series last season from Chicago, but they were just 15-26 away from Staples Center - eighth worst in the Western Conference.
