Heat searching for first win against the Knicks

Nov 11, 2007 - 2:02 PM Miami (0-5) at New York (2-2) 6:00 pm EST

NEW YORK (Ticker) - The Miami Heat look for their first win of the season on Sunday when they face the New York Knicks.

The Heat are off to their first 0-5 start since the 2003-04 season, when the team lost their first seven contests.

Miami has lost three games by five points or fewer, missing the production down the stretch from injured star Dwyane Wade.

Wade, who has yet to play in a game this season while recovering from shoulder and knee injuries, may make his first appearence of the season on Sunday.

Wade's return should give the Heat a boost after the 25-year-old guard averaged 27.2 points and 6.7 assists last season.

The Knicks won back-to-back games before suffering a 112-102 setback to the Orlando Magic on Friday. Despite the loss, Zach Randolph scored 23 points while pulling down 13 rebounds.

Randolph has recorded a double-double in each of his four games.
