Magic take NBA's best road record take to Phoenix

Nov 30, 2007 - 3:52 PM Orlando (14-3) at Phoenix (11-4) 9:00 pm EST

PHOENIX (Ticker) - The Orlando Magic take the league's best road record to a place where they haven't won in six years.

The Magic hope to snap a five-game losing streak in Phoenix, when they take on the Suns on Friday.

Orlando, which boasts a 9-1 record on the road, has won four straight games overall and is one win away from matching the best start in franchise history. The 1994-95 Magic won 15 of their first 18 games.

Dwight Howard has been a monster in his third year for Orlando, averaging 22.5 points and 14.4 rebounds per game. The 21-year-old posted 39 points and 16 rebounds in Wednesday's 110-94 victory over Seattle for his 14th double-double of the season.

Phoenix is coming off its second straight loss for the first time this season. Wednesday's 100-94 loss to Houston snapped the Suns' a five-game home winning streak.

Steve Nash leads six players in double figures with 19.2 points and 11.0 assists. Nash had recorded six straight double-doubles until posting 29 points and six assists in the loss to the Rockets.

The Magic have lost nine of its last 11 overall against the Suns, including a 106-96 setback in Orlando on November 10.

Orlando hasn't won in Phoenix since November 14, 2001, when it edged the Suns, 93-92.
