McGrady, Rockets aim for fifth straight win
Jan 27, 2008 - 2:28 PM Utah (25-18) at Houston (24-19) 7:00 pm ESTHOUSTON (Ticker) - The Houston Rockets will look to push their winning streak to five games when they host the Utah Jazz on Sunday.
Tracy McGrady scored 15 points and Yao Ming added 11 and 12 rebounds in helping the Rockets post an 89-79 triumph over the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday.
Houston has won nine of its last 11 games to move five games over .500.
"We have to worry about us winning our games instead of looking at what the other teams are going to do," Rockets guard Rafer Alston said. "We should be all right if we take care of our game."
The Rockets play 17 of their next 24 games at home.
Utah has also managed to turn things around, winning eight of its last 10 games, including Friday's 127-113 victory over the Sacramento Kings.
The Jazz hopes to avenge their 106-95 setback to Houston in the second game of this season when McGrady scored in 47 points to upstage Carlos Boozer's 30-point, 16-rebound performance.
