Pistons shooting for seventh win in row
Feb 8, 2008 - 1:32 PM Portland (28-20) at Detroit (35-13) 8:00 pm ESTAUBURN HILLS, Michigan (Ticker) - The Detroit Pistons go for their seventh straight win when they host the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday.
The Pistons had all five starters in double figures in Wednesday's 100-95 victory over Miami, led by Rasheed Wallace's 26 points and 10 rebounds.
Chauncey Billups had 15 points and 10 assists and Antonio McDyess added 10 and 13 rebounds for Detroit, which owns the second-best record in the league.
Defense has been a key during the winning streak for the Pistons, who have allowed just 87.7 points per game during their run.
Portland is coming off a 3-3 homestand that ended with a 100-97 victory over Chicago on Wednesday.
All-Star Brandon Roy scored 28 points in Wednesday's win - his third straight 20-point games.
The Blazers won the first meeting this season, 102-94, on November 13 in Portland.
